BioBarcode at Biodiversity 2021

Eight schools from Perth, including one regional school, sent six of their brightest Year 10 students each to a UWA training workshop. Led by Pauline Charman and the BioBarcode’s ‘Science Ambassadors’, they learned DNA barcoding. Students then determined locations for barcoding. During the conference, they then demonstrated the technique via livestream and presented project applications to 250 delegates.
